Arctic blast: Temps could hit minus-5 degrees for AFC Championship Game

The AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium is going to be played in dangerously cold conditions, if weather models are correct.

It’s going to be the late game on Sunday with kickoff scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET.

A six-day forecast shows an arctic blast will be centered right where Arrowhead Stadium is located, leading to temperatures between minus-5 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit, per Ryan Maue of weathermodels.com.
